Reflections on “Live birth after transplantation of frozen-thawed ovarian tissue after bilateral oophorectomy for benign disease”

agree with the comments made by Andersen within the editorial. The contribution of Donnez et al is remarkable for the
field. The irrefutable demonstration that the pregnancy occurred
thanks to transplanted tissue, represents a major step forward for the ovarian tissue banking and for women
who need to preserve their fertility
    for malignant disease where oocyte
vitrification prior to the treatment is not advisable.
